CAROLINAS CEMENT COMPANY TO HOST THREE COMMUNITY INFORMATION WORKSHOPS IN SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER
WILMINGTON, NC – Carolinas Cement Company will host three community information workshops this fall, announced Kate McClain, corporate communications manager for Titan America LLC. Carolinas Cement Company is undergoing due diligence to receive state and federal permits for a state-of-the-art cement manufacturing facility to be located on the former Ideal Cement site in Castle Hayne, NC.
Carolinas Cement Company will host the workshops to educate New Hanover County residents about construction plans and to give local residents an opportunity to interact one-on-one with company representatives. Topics to be discussed include employment and vendor opportunities, the cement manufacturing process, environmental and community stewardship, economic benefits and company history.
